PREMIERE: Sticky Blood featuring Hecky - Professional

Comprised of former Arctic Monkeys’ Andy Nichols and Jamie Shield, production duo Sticky Blood debuts the video to their single “Professional” featuring Hecky. It’s the up-and-coming vocalist that functions as the protagonist who finds himself walking through the woods. Created and directed by Sticky Blood themselves, the clip visually represents the track’s emotions. To put in their words:

We have done videos in the past, but this time we were able to focus on all the aspects involved with directing a video. We approached the video with loose visual and conceptual ideas. The track is speaking about a certain type of person, who might mess with your head and lead you down a dark and dirty route. We carried the impulsive and improvised nature across. There was no story boarding or anything – we just wanted to take the cameras out to a place we’ve never been to and build a concept around the environment.”

The pair has already worked with the likes of George The Poet and Terri Walker, as well as releasing music with Clubs & Spades, but have now set their sole focus on the release of their I.D, which impacts on August 14 on their own label Card Gang Music. Watch the visual above.
