Ms. Lauryn Hill Covers Nina Simone's "Feeling Good" on 'The Tonight Show'

With the tribute album, Nina Revisited: A Tribute To Nina Simone, educating this generation on one of the most important singers in the last few decades, Lauryn Hill paid a visit The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night to offer a live performance of her soulful cover of Nina Simone‘s “Feeling Good.” Originally only slated to record two songs, Ms. Hill’s involvement on this project was a matter of admiration and respect.

“Because I fed on this music, both hers and lovers like her, like my basic food, I believed I always had a right to have a voice. Her example is clearly a form of sustenance to a generation needing to find theirs. What a gift.”
