Rihanna planned a free concert in memory of the late Freddie Gray but was prevented by local law

Rihanna planned a free concert in memory of the late Freddie Gray but was prevented by local law enforcement. As The Baltimore Sun reports, a report from May 1 says that the singer intended to come to Baltimore in the week after rioting broke out to walk with protesters in solidarity and perform a free concert but police claimed it had no permit. Prince did end up playing a show a few days later at the Royal Farms Arena (which was streamed on TIDAL), while Rihanna posted a picture of a black police officer with tears in his eyes on her Instagram.
