Louis Vuitton Escale Time Zone
Louis Vuitton makes an addition to its Escale range.

Hot on the heels of its Worldtime Minute Repeater, Louis Vuitton has made yet another addition to its Escale range: the Time Zone. Sporting a traditional hour/minute hand timekeeping mechanism, the timepiece sports a 39mm stainless steel case that measures just 8.4mm thick and, though it doesn’t employ the 50-hour hand-painted dial of the Worldtime, it does see one that is transfer-made in-house as embossed insignia highlight different locales around the world. Like most timezone watches, the piece is simply operated by using the crown to set the hands so that the 24-hour ring rotates throughout the day to show the correct corresponding time in each of the included cities. Powered by an in-house LV 87 automatic caliber by La Fabrique du Temps and featuring a power reserve of 42 hours, the Escale Time Zone is priced at $7,700 USD and is available now at select Louis Vuitton boutiques.
