Warner Bros. and DC offer up the first look at ‘Suicide Squad.’
Warner Bros. and DC have released their first look at Suicide Squad to the masses after debuting the film’s first trailer at Comic-Con over the weekend. Due out next year following Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the flick will mark the third installment in DC’s shard universe films — which kicked off with 2013’s Man of Steel — and sees director David Ayer (Fury, Training Day) at the helm as Viola Davis’ Amanda Waller looks to unite the motley crew of antiheroes. Starring Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, and Adam Beach as Slipknot, Suicide Squad — which will also include an appearance by the Dark Knight himself — is due out in August of 2016.
