This has been a relatively big week for music, with big songs and news coming from all corners of music. Making our cover is Vic Mensa, who appears in two of the tracks: “No Chill” featuring Skrillex and Jahlil Beats and his Future dedication “Codeine Crazy (Icarus Story).” 2 Chainz makes a return with his FKi-produced “Watch Out,” Young Thug tears it up as per usual on his Mike WiLL Made-It-produced “I Need Chickens,” and iLoveMakonnen released his Sonny Digital-produced “Leave It There.” It’s been a big week for remixes and covers too: Lil Wayne and G-Eazy hopped on Carnage and iLoveMakonnen’s smash hit “I Like Tuh,” Mike Gao, Promnite, EurekaTheButcher and IAMNOBODI teamed up for a remix for Denzel Curry’s “Ultimate,” Run The Jewels premiered their first Meow The Jewel track titled “Meowrly,” and Major Lazer dropped two remixes – one of Frank Ocean’s “Lost” and one of their hit single “Lean On.” The collaborations were also strong this time around: J. Cole teamed up with Omen for “Things Change,” Zuse with Post Malone on “On God,” and Slug Christ with Keith Ape on “Honja.” Other notable features include OG Maco, Bones, Mick Jenkins, Jay Electronica and more.
