Instead of turning into one big block party, the L.A. set of Future‘s free ‘Salute the Fans’ tour has been canceled due to his fans shutting down Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood. As CBS reports, a portion of the street — between Doheny Drive and San Vicente Boulevard — was shut down just before 2 p.m. as hundreds of people gathered for a free concert at the Roxy Theatre. Attendees began lining up at the venue as early as 9 a.m. in order to score a seat at the 500-seat venue. When wristbands were handed out for the show at 1 p.m., crowd of more than 700 became rowdy according to reports. The midnight show, which marked the last in a series of four free shows from the Atlanta rapper to promote his recent release, Dirty Sprite 2, was canceled as of 3 p.m.
