Essentials: Galimatias

Emerging Danish electronic musician Galimatias has supplied us with a few items for our newest installment of Essentials. The songwriting producer gained considerable recognition while releasing music with fellow up-and-comer, Alina Baraz. Together, they released a collaborative EP, titled Urban Flora, which reached the number one spot on the iTunes Top Electronic charts. Although only 23 years old, the artist boasts an eclectic range of music influence in his music, which simply cannot be confined into one single genre. It spans from ambient and ethereal sounds to more up-beat R&B and hip-hop vibes. For his Essentials, Galimatias has included a variety of edibles, giving fans an idea of his unique palate. An avocado, chocolate and chocolate milk show that while he enjoys to splurge on his sweets, he also realizes the need of a balance with healthier and versatile snacks. Elsewhere, the importance of music and electronics are shown by an external hard drive, Beyerdynamic DT 990Pro headphones and a sustain pedal.
