Japanese contemporary label Engineered Garments presents yet another strong collection moving into spring. The brand’s color palette – chiefly dependent on whites and shades of blue – is particularly fitting to the spirit of spring. Perhaps that adds to the strength of Daiki Suzuki’s range of button-ups, cropped shorts, field jackets and blazers, which seem to be the staples on which the rest of the collection is based. The pieces are executed with clean flips on plaid, striping and solid colors, but the use of pattern-blocking here offers neat worldly influences at every turn.
