The short list for the 2015 Polaris Music Prize was announced today at The Carlu in Toronto. This year’s nominees for the coveted award include well-known, critically-acclaimed artists such as Drake, BADBADNOTGOOD, Caribou, Tobias Jesso Jr. and other talents from Canada. Also of note: Drake and Caribou are now part of a select group of five artist that stand as the “only acts to be nominated for the Short List on three separate occasions,” according to the Polaris Music Prize’s official website. You can check out the full list of nominees below. We’ll find out the winner of the 2015 Polaris Music Prize when the Polaris Gala is held on September 21.
