Barneys New York 2015 Fall BNY Sole Series
Starting with a pair of Stan Smiths, the series will include seven other limited edition sneakers, from Filling Pieces, Common Projects, Vans, Timberland, Converse, Brooks and Diadora.
Barneys New York is set to launch BNY Sole Series, an Exclusively Ours (XO) Fall 2015 footwear initiative. Led by Chris Pepe, senior buyer of men’s footwear, the Barneys New York merchant team worked in collaboration with a selection of high profile brands — including adidas, Filling Pieces, Common Projects, Vans, Timberland, Converse, Brooks and Diadora — to recreate one of their classic silhouettes with an exclusive Barneys New York twist. The initiative will feature eight limited edition men’s styles along with women’s options from adidas, Filling Pieces and Common Projects.
The first BNY Sole Series release, launching on July 9th, is from adidas. The brand’s iconic Stan Smith sneaker will receive an elevated update with a clean, all-black leather upper, a white midsole, and black laces. The original tongue patch with Stan Smith’s emblem will be replaced with the Barneys New York logo in gold.
The following releases will continue monthly through December, with each release to be announced on Instagram (@barneysnyofficial and @barneysman). Each style will be available for purchase at Barneys New York stores as well as Barneys.com with prices ranging from $120-400 USD.
