Franz Beckenbauer was arguably the most dominant defender of all time having won the World Cup, both as a player and coach, while also racking up numerous domestic and international club accolades with Bayern München. He still remains an influential figure off the pitch, and as a result adidas Originals has paid tribute to “Der Kaiser” by unveiling a range of archival tracksuit designs, that Franz himself was known to wear back in his playing days. The Beckenbauer OG tracksuit comes in red and navy colorways, whilst an accompanying T-shirt emblazoned with throwback branding is also part of the offering. Priced at ¥5,500 JPY (approximately $45 USD) for the tees, ¥10,000 JPY (approximately $80 USD) for the pants, and ¥13,000 JPY (approximately $105 USD) for the top, purchase the full range at BEAMS locations starting July 30, followed by an August 5 release on the adidas Originals webstore.
