Nokia's OZO Virtual Reality Camera
See how this gadget sets itself apart from the competition.
Nokia has unveiled a virtual reality camera called OZO. Unlike other VR capturing devices, such as GoPros and Samsungs, this one isn’t in a flat circle with cameras around it. The OZO is a spherical ball with shutters all around. Its eight shutter sensors are able to capture 360-degree videos, with eight integrated microphones to record the entire experience. What makes the camera even more special is its ability to show what’s being shot in real time through a VR headset. It can also develop low-resolution footage within a few minutes if you want to watch it right after, whereas similar VR cameras need footage to be stitched together before viewing which takes up a lot of time. Head over to its official website for more details, with a slated release date for the fall.
