2006 Lamborghini Concept S to Be Auctioned in New York
The 10-year-old concept is set to be auctioned off by Sotheby’s.

Coming soon to RM Sotheby’s auction block is none other than the rarely seen 2006 Concept S from Lamborghini. Set to be a part of the auction house’s Art Automobiles auction later this year, the Luc Donckerwolke-designed open roadster was originally unveiled at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show to near universal acclaim, but, as Sotheby’s notes, “exceedingly high cost and time-consuming production ultimately ended with the first example also being the last, rendering chassis 001 — the vehicle slated for RM’s New York sale — a true, production-ready, one-off Lamborghini.” With just 112 miles on the odometer, the one-off supercar is expected to fetch between $2.4 and $3.0 million USD when it hits the auction block November 18.
