The 'Mad Max' Video Game Looks to Be as Action-Packed as the Movie
Get ready to take post-apocalyptic car-to-car combat into your own hands.
A new trailer for the spinoff Mad Max video game has been released at E3. Called “Eye of the Storm,” the trailer unveils a separate storyline to the plot of Mad Max: Fury Road, albeit with the same winning blend of jacked-up vehicles, apocalyptic wasteland, explosions and carnage. Developed by Avalanche Studios, the game will drop the player into the world of Mad Max with no possessions — they must first build their car, the Magnum Opus, before being able to indulge in the delights of armor and weapon customization, car combat and melee gameplay. And of course, every aspect of the player’s car can be customized to their whim. Scheduled for release on September 1, Mad Max will be playable on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
