Following the surprise announcement between Japanese artist Takashi Murakami and Vans earlier in the month, we now get a first look of the hotly-anticipated footwear offering that will accompany an apparel and deck release. The timeless slip-on features Murakami’s signature anime-inspired flower and skull graphics all across the canvas upper, and dual branding along the insole. Eye-catching colored versions will be available alongside more subtle outlined alternatives, though the unmistakable artwork adorning the uppers are bound to turn heads either way. A similar range of graphics can be expected for the apparel and deck release as well. Look to purchase the collaborative collection at select Vault by Vans retailers later on in the month.
