NEPENTHES 2015 Spring/Summer "Sayonara Estate" Editorial

Leading on from April’s “Spirit of Inquiry” lookbook as photographed by Kenta Sawada with styling by Kaori Kawakami, NEPENTHES has released a new seasonal editorial titled “Sayonara Estate.” Directed by fashion figure Katsuyuki Honjo and shot by Akira Yamada, the latest editorial is based around Tokyo’s Shibuya ward and documents the city’s current state as it prepares to host the 2020 Olympic Games. Styled as a selection of lightweight summer outfits, “Sayonara Estate” follows the aesthetic ideals of NEPENTHES as established in previous campaigns and retains the familiar use of grainy, color bleached film for a cohesive selection of authentic photographs. Each look references Engineered Garments‘ present 2015 Spring/Summer collection and is coupled with various other Japanese labels including Needles.
