Japanese fashion imprint WRAPINKNOT has consistently been releasing stylish, yet somewhat peculiar takes on traditional menswear silhouettes ever since its inception in 2012. Its unique take on knitwear in particular has caught the eye of many, having creatively combined different materials with traditional cut & sew techniques originating from the 19th century in the Gosen region of Niigata, Japan. WRAPINKNOT’s latest release sees a range of sophisticated takes on classic outerwear garments like the bomber, parka and pea coat, while the lighter alternative blazer is featured in stylish makeups as well. The meticulously-crafted selection of knitwear is carefully layered with button-ups, polos and solid-colored turtlenecks, which are juxtaposed with cropped trousers in various hues. Look to purchase any pieces at the brand’s various retailers across Japan later on in the year.
