Last season, English design talent Lou Dalton presented a dark collection for the end of the year, showcasing a range of menswear staples grounded in deep, solid black. For spring 2016 though, it seems as if the designer has had a change of heart. Here we find Dalton playing with gingham, bright stripes and bold solids for the forthcoming season, relying on bright tones of blue and orange. For top layers, Dalton executes slick neoprene jackets, elongated crewneck sweaters and military-affected trench coats, while bottoms are represented by a nifty take on the cargo short silhouette. A collection chock full of unorthodox flips on tradition, check out Dalton’s latest from London Collections: Men above and head to her website to peruse the current selection of pieces.
