Essentials: T-Pain

T-Pain has been hard at work as of late. On top of frequently releasing quality tracks and partaking in high-profile collaborations, Pain had also revealed — back in March – to be working on mixtape with material from the late, great R&B songstress Aaliyah. Amidst his busy schedule, we were able to catch up with the songwriting genius during his stop in NYC, and the Rappa Ternt Sanga shared some of the items he carries along with him on the road for this week’s installment of Essentials. On the music side of things, T-Pain carries with him his MacBook and iPad to ensure that all ideas are recorded down while on the road with the help of his AKAI MIDI keyboard. To play his recordings or production, he listens through headphones from Beats By Dre, as well as through JBL mini speakers. Being one of the biggest hitmakers of our time, T-Pain does not come short with his accessories. He dons a Gorilla backpack by SprayGround, and also stays icey with lot of jewelry – he is The Ringleader, after all.
