Jaden Smith Explains the Batman Costume He Wore at Kim and Kanye's Wedding

Known for his eccentric fashion affinities, the enigmatic Jaden Smith is regularly spotted sporting some of the most unique androgynous style amongst his peers. Recently, he has been seen at a few events sporting an odd outfit – a white Batman costume. The 16-year-old elected to wear this superhero ensemble as his attire to both Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s high-profile wedding, and to accompany a young girl to her prom. Smith recently clarified his reasons for doing so in a new interview with GQ magazine, and the quote can be read below. His reasoning is still largely unclear, but it may be the most definitive answer that will be heard from Jaden.

I wore the Batman suit to heighten my experience at the wedding and prom which was fun, but also at the wedding I felt as though I needed to protect everyone there and needed to have the proper gear to do so.
