Johannesburg welcomes Anatomy, its first ever premium sneaker store located in the city’s vibrant district of Braamfontein, South Africa’s cultural intersection for creativity and heritage. South Africa’s preeminent sneaker store specializes in exclusive sneakers and limited edition drops of other apparel and accessories, and stocks big streetwear and footwear brands including Nike, adidas Originals, Converse, Stussy, Vans OTW, Hershel Supply Co., Casio G-Shock, New Era, PUMA, New Balance and Saucony. The interior of the roughly 100-square-meter shop features mixed materials like wood, steel, stone and felt in a predominantly monochromatic color theme in an effort to create an inviting space to enhance shoppers’ retail experience. A lounge area with couches, a 48-inch LED TV, a PlayStation 4, and a game catalog aim to cater to the sneakerheads, international visitors and young creatives alike that they hope to see frequent their shop. Regular customers will also receive news on special product releases and exclusive events. In conjunction with the store launch, Anatomy will also be exclusively selling the Liberty x Nike 2015 summer “Merlin” collection in-store.
