Beloved household name Heinz has been forced to make a public apology after users discovered that a specific QR used on its ketchup bottles actually linked to a hardcore porn website. More specifically, the QR code linked to one of the world’s biggest adult entertainment websites – FunDorado. Apparently, the code was used by Heinz between 2012 and 2014 to link to a campaign page for designing your own ketchup brand. Shortly after its deactivation from the food manufacturer, FunDorado acquired the domain and in turn caused all dated QR codes to link directly to its website.
