Here you go. For those still keeping track with award shows and keeping such programs relevant, here’s the full list of nominees for this year’s 2015 BET Awards. Last year, the likes of Beyonce, Jay Z, Drake and all the other relevant big-name artists soaked up the majority of the awards. This time around, things aren’t too different. Most of the high-profile usual suspects you see on websites and publications everywhere are in most of these categories. As 2DopeBoyz points out, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj receive the honors of most nominations. Something else worthy of noting: Decades after dominating radio, Jodeci are nominated for “Best Group” — even though we all know they can never best the trio of Quavo, Offset and Takeoff. Chris Brown also has not one, but two nominations for “Video Of The Year.” Those are some good odds. The “Best New Artist” is also worth a mention, just for the fact that the currently-incarcerated Bobby Shmurda is nominated and, despite being around for years, Sam Smith is also nominated for the award. Oh, and Jaden Smith is nominated for something called a “Young Star Award.” You can check out the full roster below. The 2015 BET Awards will take place in Los Angeles on June 28.
