The O'My's featuring Mick Jenkins & Jayin - Peace Of Mind

Last time we heard from forward-thinking Chicago funk purveyors The O’My’s, they were treating us to a whole EP worth of get-up-and-move grooves. Last time Mick Jenkins checked in, he was serving up some deep, Olympic-level bars for us to digest in preparation for his next full-length. Now, we get to hear both on the same song. The O’My’s have shared a previously-unheard number they recorded with Jenkins and Jayin entitled “Peace Of Mind.” The song is said to have been recorded “a while ago,” and is simply a result of some “random day” recording. This is nowhere near a throwaway cut, though — this is one of the strongest efforts we’ve heard from The O’My’s all year. You can check out “Peace of Mind” below.
