Sweden's "Most Sought After Home" by Tham & Videgård Designs

Tham & Videgård Designs have created a quaint and unique home in Sweden that has been dubbed the “Most Sought After Home.” With the help of over 2 million Swedes, the designers analyzed 200 million clicks and 86,000 properties on Hemnet.se, a Swedish property site, to design what would statistically be Sweden’s most coveted property. Aptly named “The Hemnet Home,” the design was based off of quantifiable data from the site that determined the home’s size, price, number of rooms, bathrooms, and floors. For the design, the company was inspired by iconic Swedish trademarks — the wooden cottage that represents history, local resources and tradition, and the white functionalist interior, representing modernity, optimism and industrial development.
