Wes Anderson’s films are well-ingrained in the pop culture canon, a source of endless aesthetic and verbal reference for twenty-somethings stateside and abroad. His signature style has influenced a variety of artistic disciplines, which prompted San Francisco-based gallery Spoke Art to create an annual group exhibition with works inspired by Anderson’s work. For the fifth iteration of the show – which is dubbed “Bad Dads” – artist Matt Chase cleverly illustrated the distinct looks of iconic Wes Anderson movie characters like Max Fischer, Suzy Bishop and Chas Tenenbaum as LEGO® schematics. Enjoy a look at the mini figures above and head on to Spoke Art’s website to peruse the full gallery of work.
