Jamie xx featuring Young Thug & Popcaan - I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)

By now, you’ve already (repeatedly) heard Jamie xx’s recent Young Thug collaboration, added it to playlists, and are looking forward to Jamie xx‘s forthcoming solo album. Now, another official version of the song has surfaced featuring Drake co-signed reggae-artist-of-the-moment Popcaan. This one’s just as good, if not better than the original. This may very well qualify as one of the best tracks Jamie xx has ever put out. Jamie xx’s forthcoming In Colour LP is fast approaching its June 2 arrival, and will include other collaborations as well. As Pitchfork notes, the sound Jamie xx has been showcasing as of late will greatly influence the sound of the new project from The xx. “It has definitely informed what we’re doing for the next [xx] album,” Jamie xx says of his current style and music.
