Following the release of Dope‘s first official trailer, a second look at the film has popped up thanks to BET. The film follows Malcolm (played by Shameik Moore), a smart and nerdy hip-hop aficionado and his equally academic posse who live in a gang-run town. They find themselves at a hot party, and unexpected twists see them thrown into the town’s gangs. Featuring a star-studded cast including A$AP Rocky, Zoë Kravitz, Forest Whitaker and Tony Revolori (of The Grand Budapest Hotel fame), among producers Pharrell Williams and Diddy, the movie is sure to be a hit. Check it out when it hits theaters June 19.
