Following an announcement on metaio’s website stating that it was ending purchase of products and subscriptions, a legal document has surfaced confirming the transfer of ownership shares of the startup tech firm to Apple. Specializing in virtual reality capabilities through technological programming and developing, metaio possesses a valuable competency in virtual reality displays, which Apple is planning to further incorporate into its Maps application and devices in order to provide a more thorough, interactive and convenient user experience.
