One of the most important sneaker releases of all time – the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” edition – has been here immortalized by artist Tom Yoo in a form not often seen: with LEGO® bricks. Drawing influence from Tinker Hatfield’s now-infamous design, which was the first to introduce patent leather on an athletic shoe, Yoo has iterated an eerily precise version of the sneaker in toy brick form. Perhaps the most impressive aspect here is the use of a specially-made translucent ‘Ice’-colored brick, which composes the entirety of the outsole. While not immediately going to productions, LEGO-loving sneakerheads can support a full production run of the project on LEGO® Ideas.
