Football fans and players can kiss the Predator, f50, 11Pro and Nitrocharge goodbye: adidas has announced the end of its current on-field boot silos in favor of a couple of yet-to-be-revealed kicks. Teased here in a new video starring the likes of Leo Messi, Thomas Müller, Luis Suarez and Oscar, the new boots will address the changes that have taken place in the game of football as its evolution has brought about a breakdown in previously defined player types and positions — thus resulting in two distinctly different types of players on the pitch. Said Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola:
It’s chaos or control. You need both. They are part of the game. Part of the field. You need players who have to analyze what you have to do. And there are other ones who have to be a bit free and show his talent as much as possible. When you have a team you mix both types of ideas. You have a big advantage.
