Just over a week prior to the scheduled May 26 release, Unknown Mortal Orchestra‘s third album, Multi-Love, is now available for streaming via NPR. With the content of this project shifting to inevitably exciting and torturous matters of the heart from that of UMO’s previous albums, so does their sound. In stepping away from their folk origins, Multi-Love embraces more of modern R&B and soul feel with disco influences in everything from production to frontman, Ruban Neilson’s vocals.
