New York menswear imprint Thom Browne extends its trajectory to Hong Kong with the launch of its first flagship boutique in the city’s business and retail district, Central. Located on 18 On Lan Street, the 2,200-square-foot store is realized by Studio Melone and draws inspiration from the interior design of New York offices in the late ’50s and early ’60s. Sprawled across three levels, poured Terazzo floors, glass box-enclosed staircase, grey marble walls and Browne’s signature, classic window blinds make up some of the store’s characteristics. Non-imposed lighting complements vintage-esque, Gio Ponti-style bar and mid-century furniture courtesy of Paul McCobb, Edward Wormley and Pierre Jenneret. Check out interior snapshots here and be sure to check out the space if you happen to be in Hong Kong.
