Even though 4/20 is over, Rihanna is apparently still celebrating. On the day that her V feature and cover hit the internet, Rihanna has shared a new number off her forthcoming album that ties in perfectly with every stoner’s favorite made-up holiday. “James Joint” is set to be included on Rihanna’s next LP as an interlude, and is one of the interludes Rihanna recently told she’s “in love with.” RiRi also singled out this interlude in particular as one she has “on constant repeat.” There’s definitely some recognizable Thundercat-esque sounds and old-school R&B/pop vibes on this one, so there will probably be plenty more fans of “James Joint.” Alongside today’s drop, previously-released songs off Rihanna’s upcoming album include cuts such as “American Oxygen” and “B*tch Better Have My Money.” You can listen to the full “James Joint” interlude over at Rihanna’s official website.
