Even though 4/20 is over, Rihanna is apparently still celebrating. On the day that her V feature and cover hit the internet, Rihanna has shared a new number off her forthcoming album that ties in perfectly with every stoner’s favorite made-up holiday. “James Joint” is set to be included on Rihanna’s next LP as an interlude, and is one of the interludes Rihanna recently told V she’s “in love with.” RiRi also singled out this interlude in particular as one she has “on constant repeat.” There’s definitely some recognizable Thundercat-esque sounds and old-school R&B/pop vibes on this one, so there will probably be plenty more fans of “James Joint.” Alongside today’s drop, previously-released songs off Rihanna’s upcoming album include cuts such as “American Oxygen” and “B*tch Better Have My Money.” You can listen to the full “James Joint” interlude over at Rihanna’s official website.
