It seems as though Lil Wayne has voluntarily dropped the lawsuit against his label Cash Money
It seems as though Lil Wayne has voluntarily dropped the lawsuit against his label Cash Money Records. This coming only a few days after Weezy got on the mic at an appearance and screamed “F*ck Cash Money.” In the lawsuit, Lil Wayne was suing the record label for $51 million although, sources close to the rapper eluded he would be willing to drop it, should the label pay him the $10 million he was owed from an advance and for the completion of the album Tha Carter V. While it is ultimately publicly unknown the explicit details as to why Lil Wayne chose to suddenly drop lawsuit, The Jasmine Brand also notes it was dropped “without prejudice,” meaning he could refile at anytime, or should Birdman try to short his son on any more cash.
