Cool Hunting has released a video profiling American exotic motorcycle manufacturer, Confederate Motorcycle. Now based in Birmingham, Alabama, the company was first opened in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1991 by trial lawyer H. Matthews Chambers, founded on a goal to create design-driven bespoke handcrafted motorcycles. In the video, Matthews explains his design principles, looking creating functional two-wheeled masterpieces, quoting Oscar Wilde’s mechanical singularity remark in the process. Also included are some of the production procedures and brief footage of the motorcycles in action. Enjoy the video above and for more information, visit Confederate Motorcycle.
