adidas D Lillard 1 "Gauntlet"

Those competing in adidas’s premier high school events this summer are going to get hooked up with a special “Gauntlet” edition of Damian Lillard’s signature D Lillard 1. Boasting a metallic silver synthetic upper with black and grey accents throughout, the kicks are highlighted by details like a translucent outsole, a graphic-printed pull tab, and a “Gauntlet”-emblazoned sockliner. Unfortunately for fans of Lillard and adidas, the kicks won’t be making their way to retail — the special player-exclusive will make its debut on the hardwood over the weekend at adidas Gauntlet Dallas where more than 150 of the top 15, 16 and 17U AAU teams in the country will vie for the chance to compete at the adidas Gauntlet Finale in Atlanta on July 10, and be crowned best AAU team of the season.
