Following the announcement of their reunion, The Diplomats dropped ”Have My Money” as a preview to the Harlem crew’s comeback. Now the hip-hop collective releases the Clifton Bell-directed music video for the song. The video serves as a black-and-white visual accompaniment to the track and begins with footage of Jim Jones, Cam’ron, Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey during their HOT 97 interview before cutting to the smooth “Have My Money” hook sung by Freekey Zekey. Killa Cam begins with the first verse in his signature laid back flow which leads into Jim Jones’ heavy rhymes then onto Juelz who delivers a verse that sounds like it came straight off “What the Game’s Been Missing!” of 2005. We’re anticipating the upcoming Dipset album to have a sound that reverberates the group’s energy of the 2000’s era. Check out the music video above.
