Pharrell & United Nations Foundation Partnering for Happiness Day Campaign

Pharrell and the United Nations Foundation are coming together to utilize International Day of Happiness as a time to raise awareness for climate change issues. Through various forms of media, Pharrell will use his role as Creative Director of Live Earth and as an artist-ambassador for the UNF climate change initiative to help bolster support for global action on environmental issues, such as this Live Earth petition pushing for a new global climate accord. “Protecting our planet is fundamental to the pursuit of human happiness and that is why we have chosen to support Live Earth’s movement to raise a billion voices for climate action. We believe that happiness can change the world,” said the “Happy” singer in a statement.
