Nearly 14 years after the initial release of Petestrumentals, legendary producer Pete Rock will be dropping the LP’s follow-up beats compilation, Petestrumentals 2. The original Petestrumentals featured an array of productions cooked up between 1990 to 1995, and it looks like the album’s sequel will follow suit. Today’s taste of Pete Rock’s forthcoming collection, “One, Two, A Few More,” was originally created back in 1995, with the NYC beatsmith holding the track locked away in his vaults, waiting for “the right moment.” Pete Rock’s forthcoming PeteStrumentals 2 project is being billed by the producer himself as containing “new and unreleased music never heard” by followers of the hip-hop innovator.
