Nike officially has a hot shoe on its hands with the Nike Air Cortez model that has been nicknamed the “Forrest Gump” after appearing in the 1994 classic film. The shoes were re-released on February 28 with a retail value of $100, and were almost immediately being resold on eBay for prices upwards of $250. This has definitely got to be one of the most successful Cortez releases ever, and is especially impressive when considering most of the other Cortez styles on eBay are listed between $50 and $70. Looks like you just never know what you’re gonna get when it comes to the resell game.
