J.Cole has released a new video to coincide with “G.O.M.D.” his third single from 2014’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive. The Dreamville rapper’s track tackles issues related to the shallowness of Hollywood, as he tries to reconnect with his roots prior to fame. Set in the era of slavery, the visual interpretation takes a similar path, as Cole becomes aware of how he’s living and how he should be living.
