After introducing Hyperlapse last year, Instagram is back with its latest endeavor: its very own photo collage app. Dubbed Layout, the app allows users to easily combine multiple photos into a single image. Upon opening, the app automatically shows you previews of various custom layouts as you select different images from your camera roll — it even includes a “Faces” option that shows you all of the photos on your roll that feature people. From there you can drag and drop photos and rearrange them in any way you choose, pinching to zoom or pulling to adjust the size of each individual photo; users can also flip and rotate pics to create unique arrangements and mirroring effects.
Layout from Instagram is now available for iOS devices via Apple‘s App Store and is set to come to Android devices in the months ahead.
