Redefining classic tailoring for both men and women with modern appeal, Maison Kitsune continues to expand its foray in fashion with its latest extension in Hong Kong. Leading up to its unveiling, Kitsune recently took part in Hong Kong’s Art Basel frenzy with the launch of Maison Kitsune Gallery — a pop-up store situated in Hong Kong’s shopping district, Causeway Bay.
Taking place the past weekend, founders Masaya Kuroki and Gildas Loaec tapped good friend and collaborator Andre Saraiva to decorate the store’s interior, as a wondrous cityscape filled with Mr. A illustrations overhaul the walls. Like Kitsune’s outposts in Paris, Tokyo and New York, the store carries the brand’s latest street-meets-luxury range, such as the popular “Parisien” New Era cap, patterned suits and tees, and collaborative eyewear with Oliver Peoples. Alongside a bevy of fashion and lifestyle goods, a special “Hongkongais” sweater and tote is also available in commemoration of the launch. Check out the pop-up above and stay tuned for more on the official store opening in June.
