As adidas Originals prepare for the launch of the “Supercolor” superstar pack on March 27, creator Pharrell takes an interesting sales approach in his latest commercial for the shoe release. In the 30 second spot, the Skateboard P encourages fans, curiously, to not be like him, opting instead for singularity. The inspiration behind the visual and the entire project is to be as original as can be by presenting an abundance of colour choices, 50 in total, so everyone can have the chance at feeling like an individual rather than clamoring over limited edition colorways. 50 different colors for sneakerheads to personalize to their own style and wardrobe however they please, not by being told what colour is best.
