The 2014 Outdoor Photographer of the Year contest received submissions from all over the world, as photographers tried to showcase the most impressive wildlife and natural landscape shots captured by their lenses. Contestants were able to submit up to eight images for different standing categories: Light on the Land, Wildlife Insight, Live the Adventure, At the Water’s Edge, Small World, Under Exposed, the Young OPOTY — for those under the age of 18 — and the Overall Winner. Congratulations to the category winners, as well as Greg Whitton, overall winner of Outdoor Photographer of the Year 2014, for his stunning photo of the Southern Highlands in Iceland. Whitton will receive £200 GBP (about $309 USD) in prize money and embark on the Fjällräven Polar dogsled expedition in the Arctic come April 2015.
