Denim brand Nudie has teamed up with furniture-maker Swedese for a collaborative edition of the Lamino chair. Nudie’s creative director Maria Erixon offers a refreshed take on the iconic mid-century chair design, with such details as 100% organic Kaihara selvedge denim upholstery and layers of orange veneer, a nod to the stitching found on Nudie Jeans. First introduced in 1956, the chairs are still handmade at the Lamino factory about two hours east of Nudie’s own HQ in Gothenburg. These special edition chairs will debut at the Stockholm Furniture Fair from February 3 to 7 before hitting select suppliers later this spring.
