Pixie Bluetooth Beacon Makes It Harder to Lose Your Stuff

While Bluetooth beacons have been around for some time, a new company called Pixie is taking on the market with what be the smallest, lightest and cheapest option yet. The Pixie Point measures just 3.2 mm thick, and resembles a slightly oversized guitar pick, making it small enough to fit in your wallet or stick to your smartphone. The device works over Bluetooth LE and can signal your items’ location accurately within inches. It also offers iOS and Android app support so you can see the location of your tagged items with convenient colored “X’s.” Bells and whistles aside, it’s the price that makes the Pixie Point most attractive — currently, you can pre-order a pack of four for just $39.95 USD through the Pixie website.
