Felix Da Housecat Denied Entry at Berghain, Rants on Twitter
Legendary producer Felix Da Housecat got turned away from prestigious Berlin nightclub Berghain

Legendary producer Felix Da Housecat got turned away from prestigious Berlin nightclub Berghain last night. While it remains unclear why and how he was denied entry, the Chicago house pioneer was not happy about it and leashed out a stream of tweets at the club mentioning racial discrimination and prioritizing money over a love of music as the main reasons for this incident. He also accused Berghain of disrespecting Chicago, Detroit, and “the house Frankie [Knuckles] built.” Berghain’s bouncers are notorious for their door policy. Head bouncer Sven Marquardt has published a memoir of his time on the doors of the club. His management has since deleted his tweets, but Felix addressed the situation again this morning.
“Yes I’m sober and yes Berghain are racist cunts who shitted on house music, yes Chicago, yes Detroit, now what? Wake up”, he continues. “I’m cool with getting turned away, they blessed me, but it really woke me up what’s happening to the scene. Ignorance is a disease and Berghain is contagious.”
